JAMKO connects local residents with employment, job training and supportive services.

West Oakland Job Resource Center (WOJRC) and JAMKO Foundation, Inc. created a partnership in late 2020 to develop and launch a Street Outreach Pilot. The objective was to recruit qualified referrals to WOJRC for socially and economically disadvantaged individuals in the Oakland/Bay Area. The Job Center’s career coaches connect people with local jobs, union apprenticeships and financial coaching. All services, including training classes + financial coaching are free to the public.
